Challenge: Create a logo for a hotel located in Asheville, NC, appealing to families, and is nature-themed
Solution: To me, the real first step of this project was to really deep-dive into the history and scenery of Asheville, North Carolina. I put together a moodboard (pictured right), which helped me pinpoint what message I wanted to convey. I wanted to lean towards the old, rich history of Asheville, while also keeping it nature-themed. Priroda, meaning “nature” in Croatian. North Carolina is also very known for their large population of white-tailed deer, so I wanted to connect upon that nature aspect!
